Aspire India Foundation (AI Foundation) is a Section-8 not-for-profit organization, registered on 1st May 2017 under the Companies Act, 2013. We hold 12A (tax exemption) and 80G (tax rebate) approvals from the Income Tax Department of India, are registered for CSR activities, and are listed on the Government of India’s Darpan Portal.
The founding directors—Ms. Naaz Khair, Ms. Yasmeen Shaikh, and Ms. Suman—bring decades of experience in community development and social sector leadership
We began with small steps in Delhi’s urban poor settlements, and today we nurture the aspirations of underprivileged youth by opening pathways to higher education, legal awareness, health services, and livelihood opportunities. Our work is rooted in participation—beneficiaries, communities, and local organizations shape and monitor the projects we implement.

The Objects for which the Company is established are as under

To initiate, carry out, execute, implement, promote, facilitate, aid and assist activities towards development of Education, Economy, Health, Medical system, Community Participation, Human Rights, Skills, Vocational Training, and Life Skills to poor communities and groups and to adopt institutional, rights and community-based approaches in its work.

To facilitate implementation of projects, programs, seminars, workshops in co-ordination with its team, seeking assistance from the partners, networks, and other development players and also include advocacy, campaigns, research, monitoring and evaluation, among other interventions, in order to provide appropriate awareness, capacity building to the poor communities and groups.

Our Journey So Far

We began by listening to young women in Delhi’s Janta Mazdoor Colony and Welcome Colony, where education often ended after basic schooling. One voice, Sania—the daughter of a cycle puncture repair mechanic—dreamed of becoming a lawyer. With our mentoring and financial support, she is now completing her BALLB degree, inspiring her entire community
Building on such stories, we launched Mission Law Education (MLE) in 2021–22, a pioneering program in partnership with Vision India Welfare Trust and Sir Syyed Educational & Social Welfare Society. Today, 25 students from marginalized families are on their way to becoming lawyers—supported with fee negotiation, academic guidance, mentoring, soft skills training, and a Book Bank initiative. Already, seven alumni are practicing as lawyers and leading grassroots legal awareness efforts.
Beyond law, our programs have expanded to include career counselling, digital learning, AI literacy, health initiatives, and community relief. Whether it is supporting a child with stationery, guiding parents through career pathways, or providing affordable healthcare to slum communities, we remain committed to bridging gaps and building futures
